Bobblehead Giveaway on Black Bears Promotion Schedule

For the third season in a row, the West Virginia Black Bears will have a Bobblehead giveaway on their promotion schedule.


This year's bobblehead will be a replica of Kevin Newman. He was the Pittsburgh Pirates 1st Round Draft Pick in 2015 and played in 38 games for the Black Bears that season. Newman will be playing for the Indianapolis Indians in the AAA International League this season.


The first 1,000 fans entering Monongalia County Ballpark will receive the giveaway on Thursday, July 26. Gates open at 6pm. Ticket information at available at the Black Bears website. Link 


The 2016 bobblehead giveaway was former manager Wyatt Toregas and last year's bobblehead was Black Bears mascot Cooper.
