West Virginia Black Bears to rebrand as "Moonshiners" for 3 games in July

On March 15, 2018, the West Virginia Black Bears announced that they will rebrand for a three game series against the State College Spikes in July and play as the West Virginia “Moonshiners”.

The New York-Penn season opens on June 15 and the Black Bears open their fourth season at Monongalia County Ballpark on Thursday, June 21.

    Thanks for reading. According the the Black Bears press release: "Replicas of the on-field apparel as well as alternative hats, apparel, and novelty items will be available for purchase for the first time in the Bears Den team store during the series. Merchandise will available through the online store at a later date."
