Report: Brandon Waddell promoted to Indianapolis Indians

Pirates Prospects is reporting that former West Virginia Black Bears prospect Brandon Waddell has been promoted from the Altoona Curve to the Indianapolis Indians.

Waddell was drafted by the Pirates in the fifth round of the 2015 draft and spent that summer with the New York-Penn League Champion Black Bears. He pitched in Bradenton and Altoona in 2016, and Altoona in 2017. He also had a brief rehab assignment with the Black Bears in 2017.
